Our Cafe

At Hamdorf Café, our four passions come together to create something special. We serve exceptional coffee to fuel your day and pair it with delicious, wholesome food made with care. Our café is also home to the enchanting world of our guinea pig village, a playful and unforgettable feature that charms kids and adults alike. Most importantly, we’re dedicated to supporting NDIS participants, offering valuable work experience and a pathway into the workforce — because we believe great cafés are built on more than good coffee, they’re built on purpose.

Cafe Open

At Hamdorf Café is open daily.

Weekdays: 9am to 3pm

Weekends: 9am to 4pm.

Guinea Pig Village Open

At Hamdorf Café Guinea Pig Village is open daily.

Weekdays: 11am to 2pm

Weekends: 10am to 3pm.

Coffee

At Hamdorf Café, coffee is at the heart of what we do. We’re passionate about serving rich, perfectly brewed cups that bring people together — whether it’s your morning kick-start, a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, or a slow sip while catching up with friends.

Food

Our food menu is all about flavour, comfort, and fresh ingredients. From light bites to hearty meals, every dish is prepared with care so you can enjoy something delicious, whether you’re on the go or settling in to make the most of your visit.

Guinea Pigs

Downstairs, you’ll discover a miniature wonder — a handcrafted model of Hahndorf’s main street, home to our resident guinea pigs. This charming little village is a playful and heartwarming attraction, making your café visit an experience you’ll talk about long after you leave.

Supporting NDIS

Hamdorf Café is more than a workplace; it’s a stepping stone. We proudly create opportunities for NDIS participants to gain real work experience, learn new skills, and build confidence. Our café runs with their help and energy, making every visit a chance to support a bigger purpose.
